College Financial Aid Application Event Sponsored by Local Organizations

There is to be an event to help with applications for college financial aid, sponsored by several local organizations.

New Britain ROOTS, one of the sponsors says that,

Two dates are coming up to support students and families applying for financial aid for college. If you have questions or want support completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) these workshops will have financial aid advisors from CCSU who will walk you through the process. Participants can begin and complete their FAFSA application during the workshop.

Other sponsors include the New Britain Housing Authority, the American Savings Foundation and CCSU.

The event is to the February 7, 2024 and February 21st, both from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Center of Excellence at 57 Fern Street.

Organizers say that registration for the event is recommended.
