Constituent Meeting To Be Held In Ward 4 By Ald. McNamara

Ward 4 City Council member, Ald. John McNamara (D-4), who is the Council’s Majority Leader has announced that he, “will host his first neighborhood meeting of the term to hear from residents and to provide an update on the city budget process and efforts to improve stormwater and sewer mains.”

“I encourage citizens to join me for coffee and conversation,” Ald. McNamara said. “Meeting in the ward is a good way to get their perspectives on issues that city government can address.”

The meeting is to be Saturday, February 10, from 10:00am for 12:00pm at Spottswood A.M.E. Zion Church, which is at 35 Crestwood Lane.

Ald. McNamara says that he, “plans to hold seasonal meetings to encourage citizen participation in Ward 4.”

McNamara was elected in last November’s election to represent the neighborhoods in Ward 4, which includes most of the Belvedere neighborhood, the Stanley Parks neighborhoods, parts of Farmingdale, Batterson Pond neighborhood and the Brittany Farms area. Voters in that Ward vote at the Saint Francis School, Holmes School and Pulaski School.
