CCSU Planetarium Presenting Shows on “Invisible Light”
The CCSU Copernican Planetarium and Observatory is presenting shows on “Invisible Light”.
“We’ve all seen a rainbow,” says the Planetarium, “but there is a lot more in space than can be seen in visible light. Both space and Earth-based telescopes are used to reveal the cosmos not directly viewed with our eyes.
“Come to our next FREE planetarium shows to uncover all you’ve been missing,” the Planetarium says. The event is Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 12:15pm and Friday, March 8th, at 7:00pm.
The Planetarium says that,
Doors to the planetarium (Copernicus Hall Room 211) open 30 min. before show time. Arrive at least 15 min. early as the presentation starts promptly and there is no late admission once the lights are turned off. Please note that we have a stric NO FOOD, DRINK, or CANDY/GUM policy (and a new carpet!).
The Planetarium also invites people, “After the evening show, if skies are clear, join us in observing through our telescopes. For more information, call 860-832-2950.”
