Local Black residents have been invited to share their life’s journey or that of a formidable deceased relative from the New Britain community including Ms. Jane Johnson by Cornell Small, September 19, 2024, 5:00 P.M.; Commissioner Alphonse Wright, Community political activist and Businessman, September 26, 2024, 5:00 P.M.; Ms. Donna Crockett, Top Hair Salon business person and Musician, September 26, 2024, 6:00 P.M.; Mrs. Ruth Cunningham, Founder of St. James Baptist Church, New Britain, CT, by Mrs. Donna Cunningham Campbell, October 24, 2024, 6:00 P.M.; and Mr. Willis E. Moore, Outstanding Haiku Journalist, October 31, 2024, 5:00 P.M.

The events are to be at the New Britain Public Library Community Room.
