Racial Justice Coalition to Host Discussion on Gentrification and Resistance

The New Britain Racial Justice Coalition is hosting a Latin Heritage Month Dinner Discussion on Gentrification and Resistance from Puerto Rico to New Britain.

The event is with Dr. Bulaong Ramiz.

“Dr. Ramiz will dive into how communities in Puerto Rico and New Britain are pushing back against gentrification,” the Coalition says, “preserving cultural heritage, and building more equitable spaces. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore these vital connections!”

The event is to be on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at NBRJC, 115 West Main Street
