The Moon to be Featured at CCSU Planetarium Shows
The CCSU Copernican Planetarium and Observatory is presenting a show on the Moon.
The CCSU Planetarium says,
The celestial object most easily seen in the nighttime sky is the Moon. Let’s learn all about our nearest neighbor in space prior to CCSU’s Observe the Moon Night at our next free public planetarium shows.
The events are Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 12:15pm and Friday, October 11, 2024 at 7:00pm.
The Planetarium has said that,
Doors to the planetarium (Copernicus Hall Room 211) open 30 min. before show time. Arrive at least 15 min. early as the presentation starts promptly and there is no late admission once the lights are turned off. Please note that we have a strict NO FOOD, DRINK, or CANDY/GUM policy (and a new carpet!).
The Planetarium also has invited people, “After the evening show, if skies are clear, join us in observing the real night sky through our telescopes. October 11 we are celebrating National Observe the Moon Night, with special observing of the moon after the planetarium show if skies are clear.”
