“Stellar Zombies” at CCSU Planetarium

The CCSU Copernican Planetarium and Observatory is presenting free shows on “stellar zombies”.

The CCSU Planetarium says,

What is the scariest thing in space? The remnant of a dead star, of course! Join us for a glimpse into those weird objects known as White Dwarfs, Neutron Stars, & Black Holes at our next free public planetarium shows. Please note that our standard planetarium shows are not recommended for children under 5 years old.

The events are Wednesday, October 14, 2025 at 12:15pm and Friday, October 17th at 7:00pm.

The Planetarium has said that,

Doors to the planetarium (Copernicus Hall Room 211) open 30 min. before show time. Arrive at least 15 min. early as the presentation starts promptly and there is no late admission once the lights are turned off. Please note that we have a strict NO FOOD, DRINK, or CANDY/GUM policy (and a new carpet!).

The Planetarium also has invited people, “After the evening show, if skies are clear, join us in observing the real night sky through our telescopes.”
