New Britain Area Interfaith Conference Organizing Candlelight Vigil in a World Darkened by Violence

The New Britain Area Interfaith Conference is organizing a “Candlelight Vigil in a World Darkened by Violence”

Organizers say that,

It is a service of prayer for those affected by violence, those driven to violence, and those responding to violence. Prayers, brief remarks and music will be followed by a procession outdoors for candle lighting and final prayers. A diverse representation of New Britain area faith communities will participate. All are welcome. Please share this with your communities.

The interfaith event is to be on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 4:45pm at First Church of Christ, which is located at 830 Corbin Avenue.
