New Britain Public Library Hosting Community Poetry Reading and Writing Workshop in Honor of Black History Month
In celebration Black History Month, the New Britain Public Library is hosting a Community Poetry Reading and Writing Workshop.
“All ages are invited to share or listen to poetry by Black authors and learn about different poetry styles as you create your own poems!” says the New Britain Public Library. “We will be reading poems from Out of wonder: poems celebrating poets and How to write a poem by Kwame Alexander.”
