I community forums is being planned by members of the New Britain state legislative delegation, including Rep Dave DeFronzo (D-26), Rep Bobby Sanchez (D-25), Rep Manny Sanchez (D-24) and Sen Rick Lopes (D-6), who are to be joined by the City Council Assistant Majority Leader, Ald Iris Sanchez (D-3) and Board of Education Secretary Diana Reyes (D).
“Connecting with the residents of New Britain and holding meaningful conversations about improving our community is a significant part of my work,” said Rep DeFronzo in a statement. “Learning about the thoughts and ideas of constituents is very important to being a good advocate for New Britain and our community.”
The event is to be Thursday, March 6th, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Pope John Paul School.
“All residents of New Britain are invited to attend this event,” event organizers say, “They are encouraged to share their thoughts, ask questions, and provide feedback on policy issues.”
DeFronzo added, “I am looking forward to hosting events throughout the district to encourage meaningful conversations and community participation in our democratic process.”
