Friends of New Britain Public Library Holding Annual Textbook Sale

Friends of the New Britain Public Library have announced that they are holding their Annual Textbook Sale.

The sale is from August 23, 2025 to September 6th on the Main floor of the Library on 20 High Street during library hours.

The organization says that the sale,

features gently used textbooks across diverse disciplines, workbooks, reference works and books for homeschoolers, including new workbooks covering several states. Each workbook covers two states, only $3/- each. Local college students and teachers are sure to find some great bargains for the upcoming semester. At $4/- for hardcovers and $2/- for paperbacks, the books sell fast so come early for the best bargains. This is a cash-only event. All proceeds directly benefit the New Britain Public Library.
