Ald Scott Hosting Back to School Celebration and Essay Contest Results Announcement
A Back-to-School Celebration event, with the announcement of the results of an essay contest announced in August is planned.
The event is to be held on September 22, 2025, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at Oak Street Health at 179 Columbus Boulevard.
“To spark a lifelong love of learning, I have crafted an engaging educational experience for our young scholars!” Ald Candyce Scott (D-3) said, in announcing the essay contest in August.
“Light refreshments will be served,” event organizers say, including pizza, as well as donated items for kids.
