Jimmy Golon to Present “New Britain: Then and Now” at New Britain Public Library
The New Britain Public Library says that, “New Britain resident, Jimmy Golon, will present pictures and slides of New Britain throughout the years.”
The event is Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 6:00pm in the Library Community Room.
“Jimmy has been researching New Britain history since 1991,” the Library says, “with a major interest in the construction of the highway. He has interviewed folks who have been impacted by the highway construction, as well as the infamous Night of Fires in 1971.”
