New Britain School District Hosting “Back to School Bash”
The Consolidated School District of New Britain is hosting its annual “Back to School Bash” to welcome students and families for the upcoming school year.
“During the Back to School Bash,” the school district says, “students and families will have the opportunity to meet and greet their school administrators and other staff.”
The event is to be Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Walnut Hill Park.
“Vendors and community partners will also be present with more information about resources in the community, giveaways, and food!” the school district adds.
The school district says that, “Every student should check in with their school tent upon arrival. Students will receive a passport to collect stickers as they visit vendor and partner tables. After filling out the passport, students can return it to their school tent to be entered into a raffle to win various prizes such as sunglasses, backpacks, t-shirts, and other items.”
The school district has asked any vendors interesting in applying to participate to sign up online.
