CCSU Planetarium Hosting Free “Collision of the Giants” Show
The CCSU Planetarium and Observatory is hosting a free show, “Collision of the Giants”.
The Planetarium says,
The Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies are streaming towards one another and are destined to crash. This massive collision won’t happen for another 4.5 billion years, but it’s always good to be prepared! Learn about this celestial train wreck our next free public planetarium show.
The Planetarium adds,
Doors to the planetarium (Copernicus Hall Room 211) open 30 min. before show time. Arrive at least 15 min. early as the presentation starts promptly and there is no late admission once the lights are turned off. Please note that we have a strict NO FOOD, DRINK, or CANDY/GUM policy.
The show is to be Friday, January 17, 2025, at 7pm.
