CCSU Planetarium Hosting Free Shows on “Island Universes” – Galaxies
The CCSU Planetarium and Observatory is hosting free shows on what were once called “island universes”… and are now known as galaxies
The Planetarium says,
What objects are full of stars, stellar remnants, gas, dust, and dark matter? Galaxies! Come join us to discover their amazing properties at two upcoming free public planetarium shows.
The Planetarium has said,
Doors to the planetarium (Copernicus Hall Room 211) open 30 min. before show time. Arrive at least 15 min. early as the presentation starts promptly and there is no late admission once the lights are turned off. Please note that we have a strict NO FOOD, DRINK, or CANDY/GUM policy.
The shows are to be “uesday, April 29, 12:15-1:15 PM, and Friday, May 2, 7-8 PM.”
