“The April 8th Solar Eclipse: The Good, the Bad, and the Cloudy” by CCSU Scholars for Life
CCSU Scholars for Life is hosting an event on, “The April 8th Solar Eclipse: The Good, the Bad, and the Cloudy”.
Scholars for Life says,
Now that the Great American Eclipse, Part 2, is in the history books, let’s take a behind-the-scenes look at what went right (millions of people successfully observing the eclipse), what went wrong (massive traffic in New England), and what was just plain silly (selling the eclipse, including $200 parking!). Join Dr. Kristine Larsen as she recounts her personal journey, and those of her friends, across the country, and how victory was snatched from the jaws of defeat.
The event on May 21, 2024 is be both in-person and virtual, with separate registration websites for the in-person event and the online event. The in-person event begins at 5:00pm and the virtual event is to begin at 6:00pm.
More information is available on the CCSU Scholars For Life website.
