CCSU to Host “Empty Bowls – Fall 2024” at Smalley School

The Central Connecticut State University Ceramics and Management and Organization has announced that its students, “will present Empty Bowls 2024. A basic meal of hearty soup in the handmade bowl of your choice will be served with a side of bread at Smalley Elementary School.”

“‘Empty Bowl’” is an international project to fight hunger, personalized by artists and art organizations on a community level,” event organizers say. “Proceeds from this event will benefit the Friendship Service Center in New Britain.”

The event is planned for Smalley Elementary School on November 19, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. CCSU has a registration web page.
