Community Thanksgiving Dinner for Those in Need Hosted by The Black Ministerial Alliance, NB Police and Fire Depts and EC Goodwin
A Community Thanksgiving Dinner for those in need is being planned by the Black Ministerial Alliance of New Britain, the city Police and Fire departments and staff and students at EC Goodwin Technical High School.
The event has become an annual tradition for Thanksgiving.
Organizers invite people to share in, “Sit down meals served by community volunteers.”
“For those who want a meal delivered (because you are unable to come out),” organizers say, “and those who want to volunteer to serve, please contact Pastor Gervais Barger at (860) 681-7251 or Pastor Andre McGuire at (860) 778-4017.”
Organizers add that, “Winter coats, hats, scarves, gloves and gift bag will also be provided while supplies last.”
The event is on Thursday, November 28, 2024 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at 90 Main Street.
