Council President to Honor Influential Women in Celebration of Women’s History Month
In celebration of Women’s History Month, New Britain City Council President Francisco Santiago (D-5) has announced an event honoring, “influential women who have made significant contributions to our community.”
Santiago has announced that State Senator Rick Lopes (D-6), State Rep. Manny Sanchez (D-24), State Rep. Bobby Sanchez (D-25), State Rep. Peter Tercyak (D-26), and State Rep. Gary Turco (D-27) will join the celebration.
“Women’s History Month Event Honoring Women of Influence” is to honor, Adrienne Benjamin, Isabel Cancel, Jan Edwards, Tyler Ferguson, Dr. Marlo Greponne and Jessica Vargas.
The event is to be Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 7:00pm at the Diaspora Multicultural Society at 90 John Street.
