Diaspora Society Hosting Ugly Sweater Party

The Diaspora Multicultural Society has announced that it is hosting an “Ugly Sweater Party.”

“Bring your friends,” Diaspora says, “and let’s make this holiday season a bit more absurd and a lot more entertaining.”

“Come for the fun and laughter, leave with a sense of gratitude,” the Society says, adding that the entry fee is, “Toiletries and household essentials for local women shelter.”

The event on Friday, December 19, 2025, starting at 8:00pm at the Society, which is at 90 John Street.

“We can’t wait to see your terrible taste in sweaters,” Diaspora says.

The Diaspora Multicultural Society says that it is, “an inclusive space that hosts events that appeal to many interests, from community service to partying/laid-back good times. A club with a purpose. We are open to the public on specific days if an event is posted.”
