New Britain Public Library Hosting “From Concept to Script” – Screenwriting Workshop

The New Britain Public Library is to host an event, “From Concept to Script” – Screenwriting Workshop

Want to write a movie script but not sure how to start? Join us for a workshop with award-winning filmmaker and Connecticut native Christopher Rucinski that will help you transform your movie idea from a concept to a script.

Christopher Rucinski is a screenwriter, director and editor based in Los Angeles. A member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild, his credits include Academy Award Winner Ford V Ferrari, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and War for the Planet of the Apes. His feature directorial debut Northern Shade won Best Screenplay at Phoenix Film Festival, Best Actor (Jesse Gavin) at DTLA Film Festival, and Best Narrative Feature at Fargo Film Festival. It was released by BayView Entertainment in 2023. Chris is a graduate of Emerson College and former video editor for the New England Patriots.
