New Britain Public Library Hosting Veterans For Peace for Presentation on MLK

The New Britain Public Library is hosting the organization Veterans For Peace for the second part of its presentation on Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr. The organization says, “MLK’s ‘Dream Speech’ Not the Only One We Need to Hear.

The Library says that the event is,

Veterans for Peace members present Martin Luther King Jr.’s speech “Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence.” They will be discussing the issues, values and morals expressed in this speech, and their influence on our country’s peaceful relationship with a changing world.

The event is to be on Friday, February 28th at 11:00am in the Library’s Periodical Room.
