
National Women’s History Month – Mattatuck Kay Sage Presentation – at New Britain Public Library
The New Britain Public Library is hosting an event, “National Women’s History Month – Mattatuck Kay Sage Presentation,” saying,
This MATT on the Go will explore the early life of Kay Sage and her personal and professional relationships with other prominent artists. Kay Sage (1898-1963) was a contemporary artist who lived and worked in Woodbury, Connecticut. We will examine her poetry and artwork, which is featured in numerous museums including the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art and the Mattatuck Museum. The Mattatuck Museum holds the largest collection of Kay Sage’s work and materials. Sign up today!
