Protecting our Birds and Bees Presentation by the Sierra Club on Pesticides in Connecticut

The Sierra Club Connecticut is presenting a program, Pesticides in Connecticut- Protecting our Birds and Bees, in an upcoming event at New Britain Public Library.

“Join Sierra Club CT at the New Britain Public Library,” the environmental organization says, “for an informative program on the dangers of the pesticide Neonicotinoids and pose to both human health and our wildlife.”

Event organizers say that the, “Program to include presentations from Amy Barnouw from Connecticut Audubon Society, Louise Washer, from Pollinator Pathways, and Ann Gadwah from Sierra Club.”

The presentation is to be on April 9, 2024 at 6:00pm at the Library.

“There will be a question and answer portion to follow the presentations,” organizers say, “and discussion of actions you can take to help address this issue in 2024.”
