New Britain School District to Hold Budget Forum

The Consolidated School District of New Britain is holding a budget forum, “for a presentation and community conversation surrounding the proposed budget for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.”

“The presentation will take a closer look at the New Britain Board of Education’s proposed 2025-2026 School Year Budget before the budget is presented to the New Britain Common Council at a later date,” the school district says.

The forum is to be on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Smalley Elementary School.

The event, the district says,

is your opportunity to:

-Hear firsthand how the budget addresses our students’ needs.

-Share your priorities with the Board of Education.

-Influence the Board’s upcoming decisions.

The district adds, “Don’t miss this chance to be part of the conversation about the future of education in our community.”
