South Church Hosting Christmas Community Dinner

A free Community Christmas Dinner is to be hosted at the South Church.

“The dinner is free of charge!,” organizers say. “All are welcome!”

The event is to be Christmas Day, December 25, 2024, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. It is to be held at Cooper Hall at South Church, which can be accessed from Arch Street.

South Church says that,

On Christmas Day, the church hosts dinner for anyone who wishes to come. From small beginnings 50 years ago, this outreach to the community now serves nearly 500 people. Folks come from all over town for a hot meal and much good cheer. South Church is mindful that on the day of his birth, Jesus had no safe, warm place to reside. We are pleased to offer a place of hospitality and warmth for all who wish, from all walks of life.

South Congregational – First Baptist Church is located in downtown New Britain.
