Thanksgiving Dinner for Those in Need

A group of local faith and community organizations, city departments and educational institutions are hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner for those in need in the community.

Right Now Ministries, the Black Ministerial Alliance, the New Britain Police Department, the New Britain Fire Department and staff and students of CCSU, Goodwin Tech and New Britain High School are presenting the event, to be held on Thanksgiving, November 27, 2025, from 10:00am to 1:00pm.

The event, at 90 Main Street, incudes a sit-down meal served by community volunteers, with, “delivery available if you are unable to come out,” organizers say.

Organizers also say, “We will have gift bags with toiletries and other incidentals while supplies last.”
