Consolidated School District of New Britain has announced that the Board of Education has filled a number of administrative positions in the school district ahead of the upcoming school year.
The school district announced appointments to nine positions.
- Michael Foran, who was appointed as Assistant Superintendent.
- Mark Spalding, appointed as Director of Pupil Services.
- Danielle Singleton was named as District Coordinator of Special Education and Pupil Services for pre-kindergarten to grade five.
- Leona Clerkin, who as appointed as Principal at HALS Academy/District Coordinator of Fine Arts, Gifted and Talented.
- Jason Miramant was appointed as Principal of the Brookside School.
- John Mayette was named as Principal of the New Britain High School Satellite Careers Academy.
- Susan Girolomoni, who was named Principal of the New Britain Transitional Center.
- Sondra Sanford was appointed as District Partnership Coordinator.
- Patricia Putnam was named as District Coordinator of Talent Development.
The Board of Education made the appointments at a special meeting held on July 31, 2018.
