The New Britain Youth Museum at Hungerford Park will hold its 2018 Annual Tag Sale and Bake Sale on September 8th.
The Museum says that the Tag Sale will feature, “A selection of furniture, kitchen items, clothing, books, collectible kitchen small appliances, and linens,” among other items.
Admission for the event is $2 during the “Early Entry,” time, between 8:00am and 9:00am. From 9:00am to 1:00pm, admission is free.
The event will be held rain or shine.
The New Britain Youth Museum at Hungerford Park, the Hungerford Park Nature Center, is one of the sites of the New Britain Youth Museum, the other being the New Britain Youth Museum located at 30 High Street.
According to the Youth Museum’s website, the New Britain Youth Museum at Hungerford Park, “is home to many domestic animals and native wild birds. There is a farm-yard, indoor exhibits, walking trails, and a picnic and play area.”
The Hungerford Park Museum is located at 191 Farmington Avenue in Kensington, just outside of New Britain, and its phone number is 860-827-9064.
The Youth Museum at Hungerford Park will be closed until for maintenance until it re-opens for the Tag Sale event.
