The Board of Trustees of the New Britain Public Library will be holding “Vol. V” of its fundraiser, ” Literary Libations,” on September 14, 2018.
The event is to benefit the New Britain Public Library.
“It will be a casual evening of good food and drink, great conversation, jazzy music by the Hot Cat Jazz Band, and a showcase of talented authors,” the event’s website says.
The event will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in the Constitution Room in Memorial Hall on the campus of Central Connecticut State University. The event website says that free parking is available in the Vance Garage.
“The published writers from Connecticut and beyond will mingle with guests and have their books available for sale and signing,” the event website says. “There will be something to appeal to every reader. A themed basket raffle and wine grab round out the evening.”
Tickets tickets for the event are $45, which, the event website says, “includes a complimentary drink.”
Tickets can be purchased at the Library or at the event website.
The event website says that, “Proceeds from this event will be used for repairs to the exterior of the beautiful historic buildings that house our library.”
