New Britain TRIAD’s popular ‘Senior Prom’ event for local seniors is coming up, with the 2019 Prom themed, “Under the Sea.”
TRIAD’s ‘Senior Prom’ is an annual event in New Britain for senior citizens, in which seniors are treated to food, music and dancing.
The 2019 Prom will be held April 11th, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at New Britain High School at 110 Mill Street.
The event will feature the music of the ‘Happy Travelers’, with dinner served at the event.
Tickets for the event are $5 and are available at the New Britain Senior Center, which is located at 55 Pearl Street.
The TRIAD programs has said that it, “is a three way partnership between Law Enforcement, senior citizens and support/protective service agencies who work together to reduce criminal victimization of older citizens and to enhance the delivery of law enforcement services to this population. It focuses on reducing unwarranted fear of crime and improving the quality of life for seniors. Our TRIAD is tailored to meet the needs of our community.”
