Pablo Rodriguez, President of the North-Oak NRZ, is asking the community to make donations to help families who were displaced by the recent fire on Allen Street.
“Donations are needed. Please have a heart if you can help! Twenty-five families were displaced from the Allen Street fire,” Rodriguez said.
Items being sought include hair brushes, school uniforms, soap, snacks, shampoo, towels, blankets, diapers, wipes, clothes of all sizes, tampons, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toiletries, formula, socks of all sizes, underwear, bras, deodorant, toys, water, hijabs, pet food, non-perishable food and praying mats.
The location to drop off donations in the effort is at the House of Pizza at 952 Stanley Street.
