Jr. Canes Host Tebucky Jones Youth Football Camp
New Britain Youth Football and Cheer has announced that it is hosting its Fifth Annual Tebucky Jones Youth Football Camp.
The 2019 Camp, hosted by the New Britain Junior Hurricanes will be on Sunday, June 23rd.
The Football Camp is for children aged eight to thirteen. The Jr. Canes says that the program is free, includes a camp shirt available on a first-come, first serve basis.
An online form is available for registration.
Check-in for the Camp begins at 8:30am on June 23rd, and the program runs from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
The Camp is held at Chesley Park on Wildwood Street.
The Jr. Canes are also hosting a free Cheer and Dance Clinic at the same times June 23rd. An online registration form is also available for the Clinic.
New Britain Youth Football & Cheer, Inc., the official name of the Jr. Canes organization, says that it is,
a not for profit organization formed to provide children living in the community the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of sports. The primary goal is to develop young men and women; who through participation in the program; will progress into New Britain High School football and cheerleading program creating a feeder system that will focus on the student-athlete as a whole and produce successful community contributors as well as fundamentally sound athletes.
The New Britain Jr. Canes is a part of the Connecticut Youth Football & Cheer League and American Youth Football.
