With the upcoming 2019-2020 school year right around the corner, the Consolidated School District of New Britain is hosting a “Back to School Bash.”
The event will will be held at New Britain Stadium prior to the New Britain Bees game on August 23, 2019.
The school district says that,
School administrators and staff, along with our community partners, will be located inside the stadium so you can visit them when the gates open at 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM.
The school district is collaborating with Whitsons and the New Britain Bees on the event. “Thanks to Whitsons, admission to the game and parking are FREE!” the school district says, adding,
The game will begin at 6:35 PM so if you want to be in your seat for the first pitch, be sure to get there early so you can visit your school and our community partners and have your name entered into a raffle for a chance to win a variety of prizes- including backpacks!
The school district says that Whitsons and the Bees are to provide additional contests and prizes between innings during the game.
The school district asked for RSVPs on its Facebook event page.
“The event is an opportunity to not only have fun,” says the school district, “but also for families to come out and have a great time with the school community.”
The first day of school for the 2019-2020 school year in New Britain is September 3rd.
