4th Interfaith Racial and Social Justice Conversation Focused on Housing

The New Britain Area Interfaith Conference’s fourth online Racial and Social Justice Conversation is to focus on the topic of housing.

Housing is to be the subject of the fourth online event in the Interfaith Conference’s, “Shaping Peace Together: Advancing Racial and Social Justice,” series.

The fourth online event in the series is planned for October 19, 2020 at 7:00pm.

Event organizers say that,

Every faith community believes that we are created to be makers of peace. Join the New Britain Area Interfaith Conference for a five-week series of panel discussions focusing on the ways the people of Greater New Britain can work together to advance justice in housing, education, employment and healthcare. Our panelists will include leaders from the New Britain business, education, health care and social service sectors.

Panelist for the upcoming event are to be:

  • Rev. Dana Smith, who is President of the North-Oak Neighborhood Revitalization Zone
  • Daria Keyes of Neighborhood Housing Services
  • Rev. Stanford Lebby, Commissioner of the Neighborhood Housing Authority
