Virtual Spring Concert Series Planned

The New Britain Museum of American Art is joining with the Fryderyk Chopin Society of Connecticut in presenting a Virtual Concert Series.

The New Britain Museum of American Art says it, “has partnered with the Fryderyk Chopin Society of Connecticut to bring classical music performances from world-renowned pianists directly to the comfort of your homes.”

The series includes performances on March 28, 2021, April 25th and May 23rd.

This coming Sunday, March 28th, the series presents a performance by pianist Lindsay Garritson.

The Chopin Society says that Garritson is, “award-winning performer,” who, “has received top prizes at the Montreal International Piano Competition, USASU Bösendorfer International Piano Competition, and the Mozarteum International Chopin Competition (Salzburg).”

Sunday’s performance is to be live Streamed via Zoom, from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. Registration for the performance, which the New Britain Museum of American Art says is free of charge. Registration for the performance is available on the Chopin Society’s website.
