Parks&Rec to Hold Easter Egg Hunt

New Britain Parks and Recreation will an Easter Egg Hunt this weekend, and the deadline to sign up is April 1st.

The Easter Egg Hunt is to be this Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Chesley Park. “Register for the 9:30am or 11:00am hunt!” event organizers say, noting pre-registration is required for the event.

“Deadline to register is Thursday, April 1st,” organizers say, noting that the Parks and Recreation office, “is closed on Friday, April 2nd.”

Event organizers say that the event is to include games, prizes, DJ entertainment and, “Deb’s Café Food Truck items available for purchase,” but also remind people that a, “face mask and social distancing is required.”

Organizers say that the event is, “Open to residents only,” with the registration fee $3 per child.

Online registration, event organizers say, is at the Parks and Recreation website at www.nbparksnrec.org, using activity number 1660-1 or 1660-2, “call the Parks and Recreation Office at 860-826-3360,” they add.

The event is to take place at the turf field at Chesley Park.

Chesley Park is located at 23 Wildwood Street in the the East Side neighborhood.
