Moto Caribbean Grooves and Navy Band to Play at Summer Music Series

“Moto Caribbean Grooves” and Navy Band are to play at the Summer Music Series at Walnut Hill Park the week of August 30, 2021.

The Summer Music Series at New Britain’s historic Walnut Hill Park offers performances on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from July 5th to August 31st. The performances are from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Moto Caribbean Grooves is set to perform on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. The band says is a, “Reggae Soca Party band. Moto Caribbean Grooves says that it plays

Fun swaying reggae, partying rhythms, soca sounds…uplifting fun music.

Parks and Recreation says that, on Thursday, September 2nd, the Navy Band Northeast Brass Band is to perform.

The Navy Band Northeast says that it is, “is one of 11 official U.S. Navy bands worldwide, providing musical support for military ceremonies, recruiting, morale and retention programs, and community relations.”

The performance by Last Licks, which had been planned for Monday, August 30, 2021, was postponed to September 7th due to weather. Last Licks says that it is, “a classic rock experience.”

The Summer Music Series at Walnut Hill Park is a service of New Britain Parks and Recreation.
