Black Political Action Committee Holds Forum for Democratic Mayoral Primary Candidates
The New Britain Black Political Action Committee hosted a forum with the two Democratic Mayoral primary candidates, which was live streamed by the New Britain Progressive.
The event, held on Thursday, September 9, 2021, featured Mayoral candidate, Rep. Bobby Sanchez (D-25), and political activist and Mayoral candidate Alicia Hernandez Strong.
The New Britain Black Political Action Committee is chaired by revered community leader, Mr. Alton Brooks.
Organizers presented the event on Zoom and the event was also live streamed at newbritainindependent.com.
Event organizers said that the conversation with the candidates is, “to assist you with being a wise, informed voter as you go to the polls.”
The two candidates face each other next Tuesday, September 14th in a primary, in which Democratic voters will go to the polls to decide their nominee for Mayor of New Britain in the November general city elections.
