New Britain’s Festa Italiana, a celebration of Italian culture in New Britain, is returning to the city at its new date this month.
“Get ready for our Festa full of Italian food, music and Italian Culture!” event organizers say.
The event is to be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021. It is planned from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
Festa Italiana will be held at 13 Beaver Street, which is the General Ameglio Italian Civic Association.
The event was previously scheduled for August 22nd, but was postponed because of Tropical Storm Henri.
“We want to thank all of the clergy, entertainment, and vendors who have made adjustments to their schedule to celebrate Festa Italiana on October 3rd,” organizers say.
At the 2019 festival, crowds came out to enjoy the community celebration of Italian culture and cuisine.
Local restaurants served up delicious food.
Organizers in 2019 said that, “Festa Italiana’s goal is to celebrate Italian Culture in New Britain!”
