Anel Smajlovis of New Britain Receives Scholarship from American Eagle Credit Union

American Eagle Financial Credit Union has announced that Anel Smajlovis of New Britain is their 2022 American Eagle Scholarship recipient.

Smajlovis, a Business Administration student at Goodwin University, received at $1,000 scholarship, Eagle Financial says, adding that it continues its, “longtime support of financial and business education, as well as their partnership with nearby Goodwin University.”

Howard Brady, President & CEO of American Eagle Financial Credit Union, said that, “We are very pleased to present this year’s scholarship to Anel.”

“He has worked hard,” Brady said, “as evidenced by his 4.0 GPA—and his determination to advance his education, career and family made him an easy selection for this annual honor.”

The Credit Union says that, “The American Eagle Scholarship was established in 2013 to provide financial support to a student enrolled in a Goodwin University Business Administration degree program who demonstrates outstanding academic merit and financial need.”
