The CCSU Anthropology and the Archaeology lab is hosting Dr. Mariana Petry Cabral, who is to provide a lecture on, “New Views of Amazonian History.” CCSU says that,”Whether or not sophisticated societies existed in the Amazon before European conquest is one of the major questions of Latin American history. Recent research has made clear that they did.”
