New Year’s Day is a great time to take a break from the troubles of the world, all of the terrible and troubling news and worries from the rest of the year, and to take a step back and image how the world might be.
How might the future be better for everyone, with less inequality, poverty, bigotry, war and environmental destruction – a better future for the current generations and even better for future generations?
These days, these ideals seem too easily dismissed as wishful thinking. But why should they be?
The New Britain Progressive has spent the days leading up to New Year’s Day publishing its Top Ten stories of 2018. But the top three are yet to come. The 2018 retrospective series continues into the new year with the top three of the New Britain Progressive Top Ten of 2018.
