Pathways/Senderos Walkathon Returns

The Pathways/Senderos Center is preparing for its upcoming twenty-second annual Walkathon, returning after being cancelled last year.

The Annual Walkathon is to be held on October 3, 2021.

“This Sunday, the Pathways Walkathon returns!,” the Center says. “Come out to support New Britain youth and the Pathways/Senderos Center!”

The event begins with registration at 9:30am at the Darius Miller Bandshell in New Britain’s historic Walnut Hill Park. Event organizers says that, “We have t-shirts for the first 100 registrants, and refreshments for all!”

“After the walk, at around 11am, we will conduct a raffle,” organizers say, saying that tickets are $5 each. “Pay with Venmo (our Venmo handle is “PathwaysNB”) cash, or check.”

“You can purchase tickets on Sunday, or you can purchase them now! If you can’t make it to the event, you can still win!” event organizers say, noting that prizes include, “4 tickets to the Hartford Yard Goats (2022 season),” “2 passes to Mystic Seaport,” “$50 gift certificate to Salute Restaurant,” and “$50 gift certificate to Subway.”
