Area Residents Join Nationwide Protests Against the Fascism of Trump’s Republicans

Across the country, people of conscience stood up in protests against the fascism of the Republican Party and their President, Donald Trump (R).

The Republicans of President Trump have made cuts, including to health care, food, household heating, housing, renewable energy and are even planning cuts to Social Security.

Meanwhile, Republicans have increased funding for the ICE agency, which critics say is a form of secret police being sent into communities to capture and deport American residents.

Trump and Congressional Republicans are now attempting the strongarm Democrats to accept a budget that makes further draconian cuts.

Trump also been nationalizing state National Guard troops to invade American cities, particularly those governed by people of color and Democrats.

Meanwhile, Trump has declared that it a crime to hold views that disagree with Republican dogma and has directed federal law enforcement resources against dissent.

According to NBC News some 7 million people joined the No Kings protests nationwide.
