2024 New Britain Dożynki Festival Planned

The 41st celebration of the New Britain Dożynki Festival, the traditional Polish harvest festival, is being planned for 2024 and is to occur at the Polish Falcon “Polanka” Field.

“Let’s continue this beautiful tradition!” organizers say, as the popular festival returns, again, this year.

The Dożynki Festival is a vibrant cultural celebration, with music, dancing and, of course, delicious food. “Dożynki is the traditional Polish harvest celebration, giving thanks for a bountiful harvest,” Festival organizers have said.

The 2024 Dożynki Festival is being planned for September 7th, from 10:00am to 10:00pm.

The festival begins with a mass at 11:00am. Festival organizers say that the event is to feature Polish food, Polish beer, a full bar, live music and other entertainment and award of scholarships.

Admission for the event is free, and parking to be $10 per car.

New Britain is widely recognized as one of the key centers of Polish culture in the United States, and people travel from across Connecticut and the larger region to attend cultural events in New Britain and visit Little Poland on Broad Street.

The Festival is to be held at the Polish Falcon “Polanka” Field at 721 Farmington Avenue.

Organizers invite booth rentals, with the number to call 860-491-4910.
