Paths to Autistic Empowerment at New Britain Public Library
The New Britain Public Library will host a program, “Paths to Autistic Empowerment.”
The Library says,
This presentation encourages attendees to think critically about the
benefits of open communication and self-advocacy for their lives and the lives of those around them. It will discuss patterns and reoccurring strategies that can help autistic individuals become more confident and have more control over their lives, as well as two effective paths to autistic empowerment which each must be addressed and understood in their own way but also compliment each other.
Jeremy K. Farrell is a passionate Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Advocate and a proud person on the spectrum himself. He has been working with children with developmental disabilities, specializing in autism, since the age of 15.
The event is April 15, 2026, 6:00pm to 7:00pm in the Community Room.
