John Bosco, writing on the Theater’s website, says that,

Virtual Devotion is a satirical look at what happens when religion becomes a little too mainstream. We follow the interlocking stories of a televangelist experiencing a major health crisis, a ministry worker in need of a get-rich-quick scheme, a TV nut seeing a Biblical face in her pudding, and Jesus Christ come back to spread the word while working dead-end jobs.

The play opens on Friday, July 19, 2019, and continues through August 10th.

The Hole in the Wall Theater production of Virtual Devotion is directed by Luis Marrero and is produced by Mary Roane, both of New Britain.

Billy Moro performs the part of Jesus in the play. Johnny Peifer of New Britain performs the role of “Reverend Pete.” “Ruth” is played by Karen Brown. Kristen Bennett is in the role of “Anne.” Victor Tellez plays the parts of “Zack” and “Seth.” “Lil” and “Joy” are played by Sophie Capobianco. Krysten Drachenberg of New Britain performs the roles of “Rach” and “Peg” and “Mark” and “Luke” are performed by Tim Adams. Shawna Pelletier is the play’s stage manager.
