Mayor Bobby Sanchez and City of New Britain Hosting Open House at Public Works Center

Mayor Bobby Sanchez (D) says he is inviting residents to attend an open house at the city Department of Public Works.

The event, on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 4:30pm to 7:00pm, the city says, “will provide residents with an opportunity to meet Public Works staff, learn more about the services provided by the department, explore City equipment and vehicles, and receive information about ongoing and upcoming projects throughout New Britain.”

Residents, the city says, will have he opportunity to ask questions about the services the city Public Works Department provides in maintenance of the city infrastructure, roadways, parks, sanitation services and public spaces.

The event is at New Britain Public Works at 655 Alton Brooks Way.
